Palm Beach Post reports that Berkeley Landing, a newly developed affordable housing community in Riviera Beach, has officially opened. Developed in partnership with Wendover Housing Partners, the community offers 112 units, including 110 affordable apartments for residents earning 30-80% of the Area Median Income, as well as two market-rate live/work spaces.
Berkeley Landing is a key addition to the area’s affordable housing options and aims to support neighborhood revitalization. The project was made possible through partnerships with the City of Riviera Beach, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, and Palm Beach County, with financing from housing tax credits, contributions from the Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, and support from Bank of America and Neighborhood Lending Partners.
“The Berkeley Landing development is an important addition to the Riviera Beach community as the shortage of quality affordable housing remains a pressing issue,” said Pinnacle partner Coraly Rodriguez. “Our goal with this development is to address the growing demand for affordable housing while also contributing to the city’s successful efforts to revitalize the Broadway corridor.”
