TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — On Friday, the Casanas Village at Frenchtown Square will host a construction job fair from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m at 421 West Georgia Street.
As construction of Casanas Village at Frenchtown Square begins, a 100 local jobs will become available across more than 10 construction trades. Contractors will seek applicants for positions in a variety of trades.
Qualified candidates for the following positions are encouraged to attend the job fair:
· Plumbing
· Fire sprinklers
· Drywall
· Millwork
· Site work
· Air conditioning
· Concrete
· Electric
· Irrigation systems
· Painting
· Property Management
Construction of Casanas Village, an 88-unit mixed-income housing complex in Tallahassee’s historic Frenchtown district that originally started in November of 2016 and since gone vertical.
